Ingredients
3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 (10.75-oz) can cream of chicken soup
2 (0.87-oz) envelopes of chicken gravy mix
½ cup water or chicken broth, optional
Hot steamed rice
Cooking Instructions
Step 1:
Place the chicken in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper, if desired. Whisk soup, gravy mix, and water together and pour over chicken.
Step 2:
Cover the crock-pot and allow to cook on low for about 4-6 hours. Then break the chicken breasts into small pieces before serving and serve over hot steamed rice.
Tips and variations:
- You can use chicken thighs or tenderloins in place of chicken breasts if you want.
- You can also use frozen chicken breasts. However, if you are using chicken breast, you may need to cook on the higher end of the cooking time
- Frozen vegetables can be added to the mixture.
