Garlic Roasted Chicken ( in a crock pot )

Chicken at its finest! This recipe is worth the wait I promise you! In about 6 or 8 hours, you will have the best dinner ever! I usually serve this with mashed potatoes, but steamed rice works perfectly well too! If you have a lot of time to spare before dinner, then this is the perfect recipe for you. Give it a try and taste perfection in the comfort of your home. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

5 pounds whole chicken

salt and pepper

5 clove garlic; mashed smooth

paprika

1/4 pound butter

1/2 cup canned chicken broth

Directions:

Step 1: Wash and rinse the chicken with cold water.

Step 2: Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken.

Step 3: Discard the excess fat of the chicken.

Step 4: Peel and mince the garlic.

Step 5: Use a knife to press the garlic until it becomes a paste. Try adding a little salt for a faster outcome.

Step 6: Rub half of the garlic paste inside the cavity.

Step 7: Rub the rest of the garlic paste all over the chicken.

Step 8: Sprinkle a generous amount of paprika, salt, and pepper inside and out of the chicken.

Step 9: Prepare crockpot. Place the chicken in the middle.

Step 10: Drop dollops of butter on the breasts of the chicken.

Step 11: Pour in the broth and arrange the rest of the butter around the chicken.

Step 12: Cover the crockpot and place it on the stove.

Step 13: Turn the heat to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours. Make sure not to remove the lid while cooking.

Step 14: Spoon the chicken on a plate and drizzle the sauce over it.

Step 15: Serve and enjoy!
