Fresh Apple Cake

Servings 12 servings
Cook Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

* 6 cups apples
* 1 box vanilla cake mix
* 3/4 cup butter melted

Instructions

1. Layer your 6 cups of apple slices peeled and cut up (or other fruit) at the bottom of a pan that has been coated with non-stick spray.
2. Sprinkle on boxed cake mix.
3. Pour 3/4-1 cup of melted butter over the fruit and dry cake mix. Pour slowly and allow butter to be absorbed by the dry mix. (You may find you need a bit more butter if that isn’t enough but I only use 3/4 cup.)
4. Bake at 350 for approximately 35-45 minutes. It’s done when it is nice and bubbly.
