Break pasta into your slow cooker. With this on top? You’ll be scraping the pot for more

To start, add 16-ounces of ricotta cheese to a medium bowl, make a small crevice in the center of the cheese and add 1 large egg, beaten, and 3 tablespoons of half and half. Mix well. Add a quarter teaspoon of salt for extra flavor and stir.
Add a layer of meat sauce to the bottom of your slow cooker. Feel free to use your favorite meat sauce recipe or try Average Betty’s Spicy Sausage Meat Sauce.

Place a layer of noodles on top of the sauce. You can break the noodles a bit if you need to make them smaller for the slow cooker. Bonus: You don’t have to cook the noodles first!
Add a layer of your ricotta cheese mixture to the top of the sauce, followed by another thick layer of meat sauce. Add a bit of shredded Parmesan and shredded Mozzarella cheese.

Add another layer of noodles (going in the opposite direction from your first noodles), more ricotta mixture and another layer of sauce.

Top the lasagna with more Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Keep layering until all of your ingredients are in the slow cooker and cover.

Cook your lasagna on high for about 3 hours or 7 hours on low, according to Average Betty.

Try pairing roasted vegetables or an antipasto plate with your lasagna for a truly Italian experience.
