Ingredients
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 16.5 oz bottle caramel sauce I used Torani Original Caramel sauce rather than a caramel syrup because it’s thicker
- 1 16 oz tub Cool Whip
- 1 bag Heath bars baking bits or about 6 Heath Bars crumbled
Instructions
- Bake cake according to instructions on the box.
- Poke holes all over cake with the end of a wooden spoon.
- Pour over the can of sweetened condensed milk and let soak in.
- Pour over the caramel sauce. (reserve a small amount to drizzle over cool whip)
- Make sure cake is completely cooled!!!
- Spread on the container of cool whip.
- Sprinkle Crushed Heath bars/Heath bits all over the cake.
- Drizzle with remaining caramel.
