INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
2 c. self-rising flour
3 peeled, cored, and chopped apples (1 cm)
1 cup sugar
125g margarine or butter
DIRECTIONS:
Melt butter in a small pot on the stovetop or in a small microwave-safe bowl, then mix in the egg.
Mix the butter and egg into the apple mixture.
Mix until well blended.
Place in a greased and lined slice pan.
Bake for 35–40 minutes at 180°C, or until the top is golden brown and a spear inserted into the center comes out clean.
Keeps for about 3 days
